b'Celebrating learner successScholarshipsMITO partners annually with the Inspiring Futures Foundation to offer a range of scholarships designed to support aspiring and graduate learners to further their education and training. We were pleased to award 69 individuals a scholarship. One of these was the Janet Lane MNZM Scholarship, which is awarded each year to support an intensive and comprehensive course of management and leadership study. Matthew Greene at Dunedin City Motors was the 2024 recipient with the intention of completing a Bachelor of Applied Management. We also teamed up with our Road to Success partners (Transporting NZ, National Road Carriers, and NZ Trucking Association), and the Log Transport Safety Council, to offer scholarships for the commercial road transport sector. These scholarships enabled truck drivers to gain professional qualifications through our micro-credentials. 86 individuals were awarded a scholarship.AwardsHistory was made with two talented MITOCRA Golden Hammer Apprentice of the Year Victoria Hine and female apprentices taking both Apprentice of theCRA Golden Gun Apprentice of the Year Sidney Clow.Year awards at the CRA Annual Conference in June.
